Drive from Bagdogra and head to Gangtok. On reaching Gangtok, check in at the hotel for an overnight stay at Gangtok.

After breakfast, head for a full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake and New Baba Mandir. Return to the hotel in Gangtok to stay for the night.

Visit Do-Drul Chorten Stupa, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, the Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom, the Flower Exhibition Centre, and Banjhakri Falls, and transfer to Darjeeling later. Visit Tiger Hills early in the morning to see the sunrise over the mighty Kangchenjunga Peak. Return to the hotel for breakfast and later in the day visit the Japanese Buddhist Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing and Gombu Rock, and also take the panoramic tour of the tea estate in Darjeeling.
